About 3i Group

3i Group is a British private equity and infrastructure investment company founded in 1945 as the Industrial and Commercial Finance Corporation by the Bank of England and a syndicate of British banks to fund small and medium-sized enterprises. Listed on the London Stock Exchange as a FTSE 100 constituent since shortly after its 1994 IPO, 3i now manages approximately £44 billion in assets across private equity and infrastructure.
