Why Oridian-backed ACR bought Ultra Green Packaging as its twelfth add-on
ACR just made its twelfth add-on purchase under private equity ownership, and the stated reason is less about size than about what Ultra Green can do that ACR could not.
ACR (AmerCareRoyal, LLC), backed by Oridian Capital Partners, acquired Ultra Green Packaging, a Mound, Minnesota supplier of packaging for foodservice, grocery and institutional markets. The deal was announced on Oct. 22, 2026. No price was stated. [[10]](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/oridian-capital-partners-backed-acr-acquires-ultra-green-packaging-302917396.html)
Why it happened
- Product breadth. ACR's CEO said Ultra Green expands the company's product range and its ability to meet changing packaging needs of foodservice and grocery customers. The deal expands ACR's PrimeWare line. [[10]](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/oridian-capital-partners-backed-acr-acquires-ultra-green-packaging-302917396.html)
- Capabilities. Ultra Green designs and distributes fiber-based packaging and rPET lids, with molded fiber products such as take-n-bake pizza trays, sushi trays and bakeware. ACR's CEO pointed to its molded fiber capabilities and compostable packaging credentials as complementing the existing portfolio.
