FirstPoint's $100m Raise and the Audit Trail Behind Every Seller Assumption

• FirstPoint is raising capital for independent sponsors. The WSJ headline says the firm is seeking $100m to back independent sponsor buyouts. • The example shows how claims harden. A searcher hears the owner works about ten hours a week, the CIM says no customer is over 10% of revenue, and the earnings bridge has $142,000 of add-backs. Weeks later these can appear in a memo as low owner dependency, diversified customers and $550,000 of seller discretionary earnings.
